According to baby T, the world is coming to an end approximately 8 times a day. His diaper changes have escalated to a "guess the neighbors know we have a baby" level!
This traumatic event is less than fun for all involved. All exposed skin experiences result in a major meltdown.
Help! Any suggestions?

some babies just don't like the feeling of being exposed. you can wrap his top half in a blanket, talk sweetly and give him warning what's coming, and reserve a special toy or ritual for changing time.
we have a monkey puppet and hippo just for the table and she smiles when she sees them. but sometimes she just cries when being changed.
Hayley likes it when I make funny noises and sing to her while I change her diaper. Sleepers with snaps are also good because then you don't have to undress them all the way for a change.
We used flannel nighties with a drawstring at the bottom for the first while...that meant not having to put wriggling legs back into a sleeper...could just let those legs snap right back up where they wanted to be faster and the warmth was all around him in an instant after the diaper was back on. Sped the whole thing up a lot so the time of misery was short.
Onesies help keep less skin exposed during diaper changes. Oh, and make sure you have a cloth handy...boys are know to water the walls!!

You could try making the room a little warmer, or using warm wipes when you change him or put some socks on his feet. He may just hate being cold.
